Xelamec® Spot On - From 2.5 kg to 5 kg is a broad spectrum antiparasitic pipette based on 6% Selamectin, a molecule specially designed for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in dogs and cats.
How does it work?
Once applied, the product is rapidly absorbed and distributed at a systemic level to exert control over internal parasites and then is deposited in the sebaceous glands, where it will reach the skin and come into contact with external parasites to eliminate them.
Selamectin increases membrane permeability, causing hyperpolarization, blocking postsynaptic transmission of nerve impulses, and causing paralysis and death in sensitive nematode and arthropod species.
